Attendance
If a cadet is unable to attend a training night, or an activity they signed up for, they are expected to notify the Squadron prior to the event’s start. The best method of notification is to e-mail 699air@cadets.gc.ca.

FTU Name Tapes - MARCH 1 Order your FTU Name tape! Add a professional touch to your uniform with custom name tapes. These are for FTUs and help ensure your uniform is complete and easily identifiable. Each tape is $6.00 and made to standard cadet specifications. Please DOUBLE CHECK SPELLING before submitting your order, as tapes will be made exactly as entered. Orders for name tapes MUST be placed through the Zeffy link provided as this will be the only way to submit and pay for name tape orders. For your convenience, the form includes space to order for up to three cadets. Please complete one section per cadet and leave any extra sections blank if they don't apply to your family. All orders will be processed together and distributed at the squadron once they arrive. Orders open only for a short time so place yours now before you miss out!
Uniform Standards Update - Going forward, cadets are to wear their C3 uniform for the last parade night of each month instead of their FTUs. This is to ensure that dress uniforms are adequately prepared for the ACR. Additionally, all cadets that have medals are to bring them next week for mounting.

COs Parade - Wednesday, March 4th, 2026. Timings are 1815hrs - 2110hrs. The location is the church. Dress is C1 (Blue uniform with medals). For new cadets who don’t have a uniform, dress is a white shirt with dark pants. No jeans or sweatpants.​​
Attendance - If a cadet is unable to attend a training night, a training activity or an optional activity that they signed up for, they must notify the squadron of that absence. For training nights, this notice must be received prior to 1600hrs for an excused absence to be given. Please e-mail 699air@cadets.gc.ca to be excused. This applies to any cadets who participate in optional weekly activities.​
Supply - For any unresolved supply issues please fill out the measurement form, write what you need, and email it to 699air. All uniform parts being returned must be washed first (other than the wedge).
Uniform Instructions and Abbreviations
Cadet 365 Outside of Canada Use - Please do not access your Cadet 365 account when travelling outside of Canada or using a Virtual Private Network (VPN). Depending on what servers you use it may lead to a security issue, which will shut down your account and initiate an investigation by the Cadet 365 security section.

Cadet 365 - Have been distributed to new cadets. Please use the information provided to them to sign in to Cadet 365.

Duty Flight - The duty flight for February is Cronus Flight. Each month, one flight is assigned to be the duty flight for that month. The flight helps with set up at the start of the night and clean up at the end of the night. Cadets in the duty flight should be arriving no later than 1815hrs on a training night and are not to leave at the end of the night until their flight commander gives them permission to leave.

Flag Party - Flag party training is done for the year.
Marksmanship (Team A) - Monday, March 2nd, 2026. Timings are 1830hrs to 2100hrs. The location is the church. Dress is civvies.
Effective Speaking - No effective speaking this week.
